Tour

The Prime Minister’s Office is normally not open to the public or for tours. This applies to both the premises at Christiansborg and to the Prime Minister’s official residence, Marienborg, at Lyngby Sø (Lake Lyngby).

The reason why we do not offer tours is that our daily routines make it difficult to combine the demand for a modern and efficient workplace with a large number of tours. The only exceptions have been in connection with the annual Culture Night, when the Prime Minister’s Office has decided to allow a limited number of interested persons to visit the premises at Christiansborg. Our homepage holds further information about whether the Prime Minister’s Office will participate in the annual Culture Night.

As we cannot offer tours of the Prime Minister’s Office, we will instead invite you on a virtual tour here on our homepage. On the left you may click on a tour of our premises at Christiansborg or you may visit the beautifully located Marienborg in North Zealand. It is possible to go on the entire tours or select specific rooms.
