After the cabinet meetings the Prime Minister holds a regular press conference. As cabinet meetings are routinely held on Tuesdays, the following press confernce is often referred to as the "Tuesday press conference". Press conferences are held in "Spejlsalen" at the Prime Minister's Office, beginning af 11.30.

At the press conference, the Prime Minister briefs the press concerning the ministers’ meeting and other current issues. The Prime Minister then takes questions from the press.

The Prime Minister also holds press conferences in connection with major political events, official visits etc. The time and venue for the press conferences are announced by the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Prime Minister’s press conferences can be viewed live on the Danish part of the website. The press conferences are only available in Danish.
